Just In Case You Missed It: Outrageous Relationship Videos

Just in case you missed it. Lately there’s been a string of animated videos about black men and women’s relationships that have blown up the blogsphere. The videos are made on XtraNormal.com, a site that allows you to choose cartoon characters and make them say anything by just typing in their words. I did laugh at it a few times, but the reality is that there are people out there who think like this. Take a look at a few of them.

This is basically a convo between the “educated black man” and the “materialistic black thug.”

A black woman decribes what she wants in a husband. Exaggerated yet the point of views are reality.

Here’s one response to that video.

After laughing or possibly shaking your head at these videos, what are your thoughts?

I think these vids were no laughing matter. This is the reality of black relationships. Anyone who just sits and laughs doesnt realize the capacity to how real this is for black people smh

I would have to say video number one is my favorite so far. There was so many perplexing issues displayed-it’s crazy! The conclusion was the most interesting because after the Thug cursed the Educated man out, he then turned and asked him for a JOB. Wow! In addition, the Thug prided himself on having 6 children and a legacy, but no means to support any of them- another Wow! It’s mind-boggling to me that this reality, our reality is backwards in so many ways. Another interesting point was when the Thug acclaimed that his situation and ideology was the fault of the Black women. All the “Bitches” likes the way he gets down v. the “nerd”. I had to scratch my head a couple of times on this one Natee! This video was very insightful!

I agree with everything you said. The fact that he would keep himself limited in his success because that’s what women want, is silly. You should want to progress in life regardless of what will get you women. Of course having females is a part of life but there is a right and wrong way of going about it
